How this started

One tax return.
Way too much rage.

Our founder is a salaried professional. So is their spouse. So are their parents. So are most of their friends and colleagues. And every April, the same thing happens: everyone pays the maximum possible amount of income tax and feels vaguely terrible about it.

Then one evening in 2024, a colleague mentioned — almost as a throwaway — that their previous employer had structured their car lease through the company. Pre-tax. The car was theirs at the end for ₹1. They had saved ₹2.3 Lakh that year on a benefit that had existed in law since 1962.

Since 1962. Sixty-two years. And most people earning ₹30–80 Lakh had never heard of it — because their company was too small to have a leasing company talk to them, or their HR team was too busy, or nobody had ever thought to build a platform that made it accessible.

So we built one. LeaseBridge launched in May 2026. The lightbulb is still on.
